“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn’t make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. “It’s all right” we whisper, “I’m here, I love you.” and we lie: “I’ll never leave you.” For just a moment or two the darkness doesn’t seem so bad.”

I should really get into a schedule or piece my life together because right now its a messy piece of shit. LOL. So Mid sem break finished around 2 weeks(?) ago and I've already missed three quizzes, one from each course I'm doing. LOL. I didn't miss my fourth course's quiz because my friend had reminded me I had to do it. I actually have a moleskin diary, that thing cost me 40$ and I don't have the slightest idea where it is, and clearly its not helping the slightest bit in organising my life.

Wow the last time I posted was actually last year, I've really neglected my blog for a while. I'm currently in my three hour break at uni and hopefully I can finish this blog post with the next hour or so before my next tut, because when I get home I'm actually going to have to do some uni work. (I left my mouse and home, and I hate using a trackpad so nah I'm not gonna do any studying)

Post Graduation, I had my formal. It was held at Shangrila hotel. Before hand I went with Wendy to get her make up done. Her make over was her 18th birthday present from a couple of friends and me. Unfortunately one of my eyes decided to swell up a week or so before the formal and despite my efforts to pray that the swelling will go away before the formal, it didn't. In my opinion, despite all the drama that happened at year 10 formal, year 10 formal was much better than year 12 formal. Our cohort couldn't fill up the whole Shangrila ballroom and so many of the tables were left empty and the dancefloor was really small and majority of the grade didn't dance. It was just this really weird semi-awkward atmosphere for majority of the night. My boyfriend and I had booked a room to stay after the formal and to get dressed/prepare before hand which was pretty good. I also invited a few of my friends to get ready together and the bathroom had a bathtub, and omfg bubble baths are so amazing. seriously guys.

I can't explain how much I love this photo ^

Much different from last year, this year I spent NYE working. I did an overnight NYE shift with my boyfriend so I spent countdown pretty much at maccas with my work friends jumping around taking pictures and running up and down George street like spastics. I pretty much worked at gloria jeans in the morning, then had a break and had dinner with my boyfriend and stuffed ourselves with more food at san churros. I was meant to finish at 6am in the morning, but I felt super sick, probably because I lacked sleep and had worked so much already so i finished around 3am with my boyfriend. The shift itself wasn't even that busy, we were down on sales, probably because everyone was scared of a terrorist attack due to the recent Lindt Cafe incident. Either way my boyfriend wasn't up for staying till 6 where all we'd have to do is clean anyway.

In these couple of months, my little sister has also started high school, and I'm also raising another kitten, the kitten is around 6 months now and her ***personality*** is literally to die for. My mum, my little sister and I both favour her out of my two cats HAHA. Even though i really do love toothless too. My little sister wouldn't let me name my second cat hiccup so my cats follow with the how to train your dragon's characters so we chose Luna instead, after sailor moon's black cat, even though my cat isn't exactly black... hahaha.

Towards the end of January, it was my boyfriend's birthday! I celebrated with him at 360 degrees fine dining. AND OH MY GOD. I cannot express how much i suck at using a knife and fork and how much I both hate and love fine dining. The food at fine dining is great seriously, but omg I do not know like shit. I pretty much ended up googling for my boyfriend and I went to eat the bread on the side LOL. Also ****apparently*** even though I've never heard of this the lady always sits on the left of the table? SAY WHAT. I didn't believe my boyfriend at first but then after looking around and seeing that EVERY FEMALE WAS ON THE LEFT. I was convinced to swap seats with my boyfriend loooooooooooool. so embarrassing, but then it could have been worse, like i could have dropped cutlery or something.

For dessert, we ordered the dessert sampler platter. Thinking I could be cute, I asked the waiter if they could put some candles on the dessert platter since it was his birthday. We did this at ellenes birthday and the waiters showed up with sparklers and they were LOUDLY CHANTING the birthday song at Cyren. Great restaurant btw, guys you should all try. But then the waiters like, sorry we can't light candles up here. Then it suddenly clicked, MAKES SENSE, cause of the damn altitude of the restaurant, I mean even my ears popped on the way up on the escalators. How embarrassing of me omg. I don't think my ears could have been any more red than they were. But then waiter showed up later with a plate with Happy Birthday written on it in chocolate and little brownie pieces. it was so cute hehehehe. ^___^

One morning I showed up to work, and the coffee machine stopped working. IT WAS A SIGN. because after my manager fixed the coffee machine, a couple of hours later, GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. The stores along pitt and park street. BLACKED OUT. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It was so weird when it happened. It was like POOF. And we had no electricity whatsoever. So my workmates and I chilled at gloria jeans acrossed the road for around an hour????? or so before the electricity came back on again. And then IT BLACKED OUT AGAIN. Slowly all the stores for their electricity back except for the maccas I worked in. My boyfriend, workmates and I spent the day chatting away and playing three dollar UNO cards we bought next door, which had also blacked out.

Valentine's Day this year, I surprised my boyfriend by going to the zoo. Well i didn't really surprise him since he ended up guessing where we were going anyway, like he always does. I don't know why, but he always guesses everything I've planned/want to surprise him with so in the end its no longer a surprise ~_____~ The day before he had roses delivered to work, it was so cute despite the fact the stupid delivery guy had delivered them way way too early.

It took me way too many shots to get this photo, and also to have my cat look at the camera lololol ^

Valentine's day was scorching hot as well. I pretty much bought around 30-40$ worth of very overpriced water, LOL. ohwells.

From what I remembered from year 7 (When i had last visited the zoo) The zoo hasn't changed much. To be hoenst I don't think taronga zoo has changed much in the past decade or so. Alot of things which were there when I visited in kindi are still there now. Before going into the zoo, my boyfriend and I went to the souvenir shop, where he bought me a snow leopard plushie. FINALLY. I've wanted one of those plushies since forever, and he also kept shoving spider plushies in my fact. I absolutely despise spiders, one time he actually made me scream and people looked at me weird. Turns out valentine's day wasn't only celebrated by humans but elephants too, my boyfriend and I accidentally stumbled upon elephant's breeding (elephant porn), we were pretty much curious at why so many people had stopped at this one gap. LOL. When we watched the elephant talk, the zookeeper encouraged us to go down and watch them mate too, apparently it was a ""one in a lifetime opportunity"" to see LOL. After the zoo, we headed to the garden buffet at the star. Food was pretty nice to eat seriously, but i expected more options. I remember the Auburn(?) RSL buffet I went to for my boyfriend's birthday two years back, there were more dishes to choose from. Nonethless, the food was great and I stuffed myself really well. hahahahaha.

Despite turning 18 in March, March was a such a crappy month for me. I'm so glad its over and thinking back at it and everything that had happened still gives me the shits, or what my friends like to call; 'butt hurt' lol. Despite my original plans of spending my 18th with friends and throwing a somewhat big party, it had all changed and I spent a quiet 18th with Ronny at the Grounds of Alexandria. I knew that the grounds could get heaps busy, especially on the weekend and Easter coming along. But I had to wait around an hour with Ronny to get seats to eat, but it was alright, I guess. I still got to the small Easters desserts, I really wanted to get since I saw them on instagram.

I ordered a skim mocha and this is how it came to me ^ deconstructed. I was actually quite shocked, but it was also super fun and interesting to make. Despite my efforts of making latte art, it didn't exactly work. lolololololol. And I probably put too much milk into my mocha cause it was really bland and from what i remember last time I had the grounds coffee, it was great. LOL Either way it was heaps fun. I ordered the avo smash with feta and omg it was SO GOOD. I used to hate avocado. Like hate hate hate hate HATE it as much as I hate durian, but I don't know when I started eating avocado, I think its when I was trying to be healthy on my breaks at Gloria Jeans And i ate avo toast with salt and pepper and tomatoes. SINCE THEN I have been known as the girl who brings avocados to work to share at maccas. The other day I pretty much ate a whole avocado. Instead of putting meat into my wraps now at maccas, I put half an avocado, well technically I cant fit any meat into the wrap anymore as soon as I put half an avocado, LOL. but eh, either way I'm being healthy and AVOCADO IS LIFE.

After the grounds, Ronny and I headed to 360 buffet to eat. I wanted to try it out since we already went to 360 fine dining for his birthday. The food was nice, and the service was alright, I had my first legal drink there!!!! I had an Long Island Ice Tea, I pretty much chose it because it was the only thing I recognised on the drink menu. LOL. It was soooo good though and I've been ordering it ever since then. ^_____^ It took Ronny and I around halfway through dinner to realised that the inner ring, where all the food was placed/the kitchen area also moved. LOL. We spent half the night wondering, why the fuck the toilets were moving HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. There wasn't much options in food, but they ate fresh seafood and the food in general was really nice. I tried my first raw mussel(?) or was it oyster, the texture was so weird, but whatever it came with this green sauce on the side which tasted like weak wasabi/dijoinase(?) which was really really nice. I spent the rest of my 18th at a hotel getting smashed and chugging vodka. It was a really quiet 18th, I didn't do much I guess and a lot of unhappy things had happened during the month of March, but I can look back at my 18th, despite awkward silences, convos and chugging on vodka and still say it was very memorable.

MOVING ON from the crappy month of March, April birthed the potato family. A combination of Mao, Ronny and me. Together the three of us have been on many adventures throughout Sydney and I could not be happier with the friendship we have. Despite the fact our friendship mainly consist of the other two giving me crap about how butt hurt I am and constantly dogshotting me. LOL. Unfortunately the three of us also share many bad bad bad habits. But I guess its somewhat okay since we control our bad habit. heh.

The three of us went to the Chinese Gardens Of Friendship, all of us haven't been to that place in like years. LOL. We actually took heaps more photo there, but its taken me much more than the three hour uni gap I mentioned previously to finish the post, but also 3 extra nights of staying up past midnight because I've procrastinated throughout the night. So I've gotten to a point of laziness where I cant even be fucked to even bother editing photos or even rotating them so that I can put them into this post. LOL. When we went to the Chinese Gardens we actually took pictures EVERYWHERE. LOL. And it was pretty much Ronny and Mao occasionally scaring the shit out of me with spiders and skskskskskksksksks sikcunts at the Chinese Gardens. Afterwards we went to starbucks before eating dinner and going home.

With these three I had also finally gotten the chance to visit MCA, and take the cliche mirror photo and instagram the cliche photo. LOL. I had also tried shisha, and that shit is pretty good. I remember on the first night we tried it Ronny wasn't feeling great, he was actually heaps sick, and he wore all three jackets of ours and was huddling to the hot stones on the shisha. It was actually so pitiful but funny at the same time. LOL. When going home, he pretty much had one arm around me and an arm around Mao and it was like we were carrying out drunk heartbroken ass friend back home. HAHAHAHA. We went out another time, to try shisha again where Ronny got to enjoy it cause he wasn't sick asf. But omg recently a storm had hit Sydney and the weather was horrible. Pretty much on that night it was heaps cold and raining and despite being able to enjoy shisha, everyone was fucking freezing like shit. LOOOL. Despite every other person's opinion, I really liked the week of stormy weather and rain. It was such nice cuddling weather, where all you'd wanna do is sit at home and cuddle in front of a fire or with the person you love with hot chocolate and watch a movie. The storm was so bad places actually flooded. Like the whole Bardwell Park Station flooded and omg watching the camera footage of it is soo SOOO funny. Apparently it's happened before as well, which is even more funny omfg. HAHAHAH. it legit turned into a pool.

I was actually going to make this post alot longer, I had alot more to blog about, but this chair is horrible to sit on because there is absolutely no cushioning and its almost 2AM, and I am heaps exhausted and I have work at 6AM tomorrow. I'll probably post another post soon. Hopefully. heh.
