“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn’t make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. “It’s all right” we whisper, “I’m here, I love you.” and we lie: “I’ll never leave you.” For just a moment or two the darkness doesn’t seem so bad.”

Wow, the last time I posted was like yonks ago and right now I'm in the middle of my HSC exams. Time really flies. So much has happened since the last post, I've graduated high school and I'm already more than halfway through my HSC exams. I probably really shouldn't be posting right now, its almost 2AM in the morning but hey, I just finished my first week of HSC which was pretty much a full timetable, I had one exam everyday except for Thursday, it was horrible because all the exams were so heavily contented and having english paper1, english paper2 and then ancient history three days in a row could not be any worse. I'm probably going to just make this post short and sweet I'd really like to get to bed soon. LOL.

Anyways, I finally graduated high school, a milestone which I thought i'll never reach. Graduation was so fast and crazy omg, and I participated in my cohort's mock assembly. I'm actually pretty happy I was part of it, in a span of 2 days I had grown closer to other people in my grade and the experience was just amazing, really. I was mocking my maths teacher and seriously the glasses he gave me to wear could not be anymore embarrassing, they were crooked and I had to stick them onto my face with sticky tape. LOL.

Anyways graduation was actually so amazing seriously. wow, like thinking back on just that week and how crazy it was, oh my goodness. I was also responsible for two of my teacher's presents which i happily covered in possibly hundreds of layers of newspaper and glitter bombed the wrapping. I wish I had taken more photos though, but there is still formal! tbh I am so ceebs for formal LOL. I have yet still got to oragnise make up and buy my shoes and try find a clutch and omg its just effort and money, two things I really do not have right now. But to think the formal will be one of the last things my school cohort will do together as a grade is rather sad. After graduating the first thing we did again as a cohort was HSC paper1. OMG AHAHA. thats so amusing and funny to me i dont even know why.

Honestly high school had been such an amazing experience. The six years at St George have really flew by. When you look back upon the six years you really do wonder where they all went, because unlike primary school where the years K-2 are all just fuzzy memories, every year in high school you will learn and take something with you which will stay by you for life. Looking back on it now it just seemed like yesterday that we were still juniors swapping tv shows and movies on our laptops. Seriously I cannot emphasis on how quickly high school went. Even though for some parts of high school it was truly horrible (especially exams lolz) high school is well and truly what people say it is, some of the best years of your life. I've realised now what you experience is high school is where you'll experience no where else because you're at that age where you're neither children nor adults, and you are able to test the limits of life while its still okay to make mistakes (ignore curfews/become rebel etc lolololol) but also mature. High school was truly amazing, thank you to everyone who was there and part of my journey. All the best, Class of 14.
