“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn’t make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. “It’s all right” we whisper, “I’m here, I love you.” and we lie: “I’ll never leave you.” For just a moment or two the darkness doesn’t seem so bad.”
Neil Gaiman, Neil Gaiman’s Midnight Days
“People think dreams aren’t real just because they aren’t made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.” — Neil Gaiman

I've been pretty much neglecting this post since forever because i've been simply too busy (excuse for being lazy) to post it. I always open the draft of this post and end up pretty much not touching it, the tabs pretty much there so its like "its okay bobo you tried" LOL. anyways.

Happy (belated) New Year guys. The year 2013 honestly flew by so quickly, seriously, tbh i really cannot believe its been another year so quickly. Don't even know what happened during year 11 LOL. I really guess the final years of high school really do fly past, my coming HSC year will fly past faster than ever I guess. And its already the 2nd month of this year MEANING THAT THERE IS LESS THAN 9 MONTHS UNTIL MY HSC.

Let's fly back to 2013. Boxing Day. I swear I specifically said "open shift" only so that when i finish at 2pm I would be able to go shopping. Then one of the managers, my favourite in fact was like hey bobo wanna do 6-6 and finish at 6 with me? Cause she's got a 10-6 shift and I was like sure why not. LOL. Turns out I really did finish at 6. By 6pm i was literally like wtf just happened in the past 12 hours LOL. When I started at 6am in the morning it was already busy thanks to the bothered people who woke up at dawn to go shop at myer and david jones. But then I shouldn't really be saying anything because thats what i did the past two years LOL omg. I was rather pissed having my break at 7:30 cause I wasn't hungry and it was so early wtf. But it was understandable because as soon as I came back from my break literally I worked non stop till the end of my shift at 6pm. I was on drinks and just me handling the soft drinks was like crazy already and then I had like another two people making ice creams and what not LOL. Our store was rather unprepared for *boxing day* we ran out of so much stock we ended up borrowing 25 boxes of fries from another store. LIKE HOW MORE UNPREPARED COULD WE GET SERIOUSLY. TO RUN OUT OF FRIES. Either way it was a pretty good experience and i can't believe i stood there for like 6 hours+ making soft drinks lolz. After i finally finished work I went and met up with my boyfriend and his mum to eat at wagamama where his sister works. Like she doesn't even get double holiday pay which i reckon is so dumb like why bother working boxing day when its so busy to not get double pay. lolz. Then my boyfriend his mum and I went off and shopped. Luckily shops were opened till late so I still got a daily dose of shopping, except for the fact that I ended up spending way over budget. ): I didn't even buy much for myself, a pair of Zara heels and peter alexander pjs, but some stuff for my mum and little sister too. But my mum as unappreciative as she is dissed the black sweater I got for her from Zara, and honestly now I don't even know where she's chucked it. lol. But either way it was a very productive boxing day for year 2013. :D

The first month of the year kicked off with a lot of work, rather than school work, leaving me in this mess of being behind and trying to compact six weeks worth of work spread across around 5 subjects into two weeks. Which I know is not possible and I'll probably be spending a lot of my time at the state library. Not to mention that my birthday is literally smack bang in the middle of half yearlies. Its on the weekend in between the two week exam bloc. omfg. I'm quite happy, but yet sad at the same time that I had dropped extension history. Although I spent majority of classes trying to fight sleep. lol. But honestly I didn't know that not starting my major and having a first draft ready by Term 1 would put me in such a stressful position, so I guess I brought it upon myself. But one less subject to worry about! Unlike extension maths which is built on 2 unit ext. history is a completely different subject compared to my ancient history elective.

I wasn't exactly sure of what I was missing out on when I realised I hadn't watched Frozen, thinking it'll be another one of those 'Disney movies' lol. I'M NOT SAYING I DON'T WATCH DISNEY MOVIES. I LOVE THEM I REALLY DO. Its just the plot and trailer did not seem very intriguing, turns out the soundtrack is everywhere and people have been watching it over and over again and yeah now I really want to watch it and I probably shall soon hopefully. I am very excited, but then I should probably find something less costly to do as both my boyfriend and I are pretty broke. lol...even though its like...just movies. LOL.

My cat toothless has finally learnt her name! yay! Well she learnt her name ages ago but since I haven't blogged in a while... heh. She's like double the size she was when we first got her. She's still tiny but she's actually grown so much, its sort of off putting LOL. like why don't you just stay tiny and cute. Now she catches cockroaches, lizards and all sorts of things and enjoys herself as she hunts around the house and outside. But letting her out at night and chasing her is the biggest pain so we just keep her inside despite her constant meows and pestering at the door for us to let her out. Apparently during the day when my mum lets her out and she wants to come home but the doors closed to taps on it, well, attacks it. Until someone opens the door for her. WHICH I FIND SUPER CUTE EVEN THOUGH I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPEN. And there was this one time my mum left to take the clothes out and my cat like climb all the way up to the top of the door (its like a flyscreen sorta) and like stayed there until my mum came back. I don't know my cats just a cutie and she would be so much more cuter if she could talk, even though that's kinda creepy but still omg she's like the cutest thing especially when she's taking one of those long naps and I purposely go and wake her up and she just gives me this 'look' and goes back to sleep. LOL.

So on the 3rd (?) of January, I went with my boyfriend to his Uni open day. I pretty much went for the free food. (lol) free breakfast and free lunch LOL. I decided to go all "healthy" and grape the museli and yoghurt for breakkie which was alright, but not filling and it was like 'one each' and i didn't want to be cheap and go back for another one so yeah... LOL. Then we pretty much stayed in the same lecture hall for 1.5 hours because it would be one of his business lectures, then a law lecture then a psychology lecture. Well he accompanied me for an hour to listen to my stuff hehehe even though I'm still in my final year of high school. ANYWAY, cause of that day I've been pretty much convinced to go macquarie LOL. even though i still want to go to USYD. A combined Law/Pysch degree is at 99.whatever+ which seems highly impossible so Macquarie seems  pretty good to me (Y) EVEN THOUGH THE CAMPUS IS LIKE SO FAR AWAY ITS SO WORTH IT CAUSE ITS LIKE GREEN AND LUSH AND SO BEAUTIFUL OMG. By noon or so we've finished out freebie lunch keke and had nothing to do and we were gonna head back out to city cause it was such a hot day and there was nothing else to do on the campus, but i was like hey why not look around the macquarie centre cause he'll probably be there for majority of his uni life since its like 2 mins away and I haven't been there since primary school. The school hasn't changed much. the ice rink is still the same, you can still view the ice rink from the food court. But its so easy to get lost in that centre. THE ESCALATORS WILL LITERALLY GO FROM G TO LVL 3 OR FROM LVL 1 TO LVL 3 OR WHATEVER. Its just so confusing because as if it didn't make more sense to have an escalator on each level leading up to the level above. Either way, it was really fun to explore and they had so many didn't food cafes and I bought myself two candles from dusk! Which I took forever to choose because I had to smell every single scent until I found ones I wanted. I ended up buying two candles being rather disappointed with one because I could barely smell anything unless I waved my hands around the candle so the scent actually dispersed. ==" Underneath my candle is my school diary for this year, I WAS SO SAD BECAUSE it was 40$ and then when I went to kkki.k There were cuter ones for cheaper omfg. oh wells.

My boyfriend and I went on a Barista course together (in hopes to changed his unemployment status LOL) and it was the biggest waste of money anyone can spend. Well maybe the place we went to was just really shit. BUT. There were two parts and I guess the first part where you learn about coffee was interesting and kinda informative but all we did was watch videos from i dont even know how long ago but we might as well have just youtubed the videos rather than paid money to watch them. Then the second half of the training it was pretty much my boyfriend and me and 4 random girls. I pretty much sat there and taught my boyfriend how to froth milk while the "trainer" sat there and played on her iphone. seriously. omfg. and those 4 girls kept playing around with the milk thinking they're all cool and shit learning how to make coffee and their froth was so shit and omfg. THEY USED UP ALL THE MILK AS WELL, cause the time was based on "till you guys finish using the milk" omgosh. And i asked the trainer to teach me latte art right, nekminnit she replies "oh i dont know how to do those" .........#rufkingkiddingme.

I also got gifted an ipad recently by a family friend and its shared between my little sister and i although i bring it to school because it has all my textbooks on it. But we both have the same obsession of playing sims free play on it. LOL. Her reaction when she found out I made two sims gay and married was hilarious. She literally called me in at work saying "BOBO WHY ARE CHO AND SAKURA (two girl sims) DATING?!?! OMG." she was so shocked. Now they are happily married in the sims world. kekekeke. Anyways, I have so much maths to catch up with toodles guys~
