“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn’t make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. “It’s all right” we whisper, “I’m here, I love you.” and we lie: “I’ll never leave you.” For just a moment or two the darkness doesn’t seem so bad.”

By tomorrow, I would have finished 4 out of 8 of my year 11 prelims exams. bwahahaha. Also by tomorrow, my dear little sister will be back from her first school camp. The house is terribly silent without her. Sometimes I wonder how I found her so annoying cause she can be the cutest person ever. Anyways, its almost 9pm and I had been planning to study/well at least type up some more notes on ancient history or do some more maths but since I had a rather long 3 hour long maths tutor today, I thought upon coming home this afternoon I deserved a break. I break which has lasted till now. I'm currently rather stress free as I finished my 2 unit exam today and tomorrow is a bio practical and 3u and ancient history its not until this Friday (So I have two days too study lol) Then next week I only have two more exams, Latin and Bio, which I have not begun studying for. Maybe I should be worried...

Well on the 27th of last month (August) I went along with a few of my friends to go donate blood. It wasn't the first time I had gone to donate blood, but it was my first time donating. Last time I went, I was not allowed to donate which was quite disappointing. So I was shitting it that this time I wouldn't be able to, but luckily I was! I was extremely happy about it, but I was the last person to be interviewed and the last person to have my blood donated too. The wait was extremely long, as I was so eager and impatient. I was so shocked at the amount of blood that came out of my finger when they had pricked it to test my hemoglobin levels. I was so shocked and how sudden it was too. In my head I was just like "what just happened....." ahahahaha.  The needle used to take the blood out of your vein is rather big compared to normal vaccination needles etc, maybe thats why it hurts less? Honestly from what I remember, vaccination needles hurt so much and just feels like a stabbing pain in my arm even though I'm not looking at the nurse put the needle in. The nurse was nice enough to tell me to look away when she put the needle in. I mean I felt it go in but it didn't hurt. Watching my blood come out was rather creepy, honestly, I have never seen so much blood in my life, and it was such a dark red rather than the typical bright red you'll imagine blood to be.

Well thats certainly one thing off my bucket list, I have planned so many things I would like to do these coming holidays, that is if I manage to buy myself a DSLR in time. I'm pretty sure by my next two payslips, I'll be able to get myself one. I'm so excited! Cause then I can take my little sister out to the city or something and take lots of photos and i'll be like a mini adventure. I'm so looking forward to this. Also i found out that the Museum of Contemporary Art is also free entry. Guess who's gonna go these coming holidays?!?!?! me. I've got all these things planned and I would like to do them but I'm like 90% sure I won't be able to get the chance too. Just like how the Sunday before last was the Colour run and I didn't get to participate and last Saturday was the glow run and I didn't get to participate. But I will definitely participate in the Neon run coming up in October! That reminds me I need to buy myself a pair of free runs...zzz.... If I even have money after buying myself a DSLR. I had my eyes on the Canon EOS 600D ever since I took a picture with Conny's camera on wear it purple day. I just knew I had to get it (lol...how cliche) So then I started looking up prices for it etc, its around 650$ at JB Hifi, but at Dick Smith its like 750$ but it comes with another lens, which is so much more worth it LOL. I can get it for myself now, but I don't want to end up dead broke and have no money in my account. BUT IM SO EXCITED TO GET IT.
How beautiful is it. Like omg. I'm also planning to go to the beach these holidays. Gonna go get my tan back. My legs are so horribly white it makes me so uncomfortable hur hur hur. Hopefully by then I would have gotten a new pair of swimmers and my camera so I can take pictures on the day! Well I really should wrap up this post and go take a shower and do at least some amount of studying to make myself feel slightly better about unproductive I've been today. That reminds me, for my 2u and my legal exam I had finished with more than hour to go. What was worse is that for legal I had checked around 3 times and still had 40 minutes left. I was so bored I started drawing on my examination paper. For maths, at least I spent the hour productively looking back through my test paper, checking my answers etc. Meanwhile kitty's examination paper is full of drawings LOLOLOL. I didn't find the 2u test too bad, but I'm shitting it for 3u because ancient is straight after AND THERE IS SO MUCH CONTENT FOR ANCIENT HISTORY. ): I guess I'll be okay for the Roman topic since it kind of interrelates with Latin, but omg wtf have I learnt on Persepolis?!?!? NOTHING! Half the test is a 20 marker essay based on it too. s.i.g.h. anyways, at least I have a DSLR to look forward to after my examinations are over. ^_^ then I finally can take some decent photos instead of the horribly out of focus, low megapixel one's on my iphone where instagram filters are heavily relied on..........

The above photos are what kind of has been happening in the past week. I had wear it purple day last Thursday at my school and I had bought 'equality cupcakes' where no matter what shape, size, colour, gender or sexuality each cupcake was 2$. I had bought one of Conny's since all of Jacki's had been sold out on the table I was buying on. Alice had cut me up strawberries on the weekend before my prelims started. I was cramming for legal and shitting it because we were told the whole syllabus was being covered....Then the test was only on the last three topics, so I had printed off booklets and booklets of legal notes for absolutely so reason at all. But alice cutting up strawberries for me was so cute, they were sugar coated too. I love it when strawberries are in season. They are my favourite fruit. Also I always have punnets and punnets of them in my fridge, my mum cuts me up a punnet every morning for breakfast, she's being extremely nice to be these days cause she knows I have exams. mwhahahahhaa. I have gotten into a habit of print screening nice snapchat photos before I send them...probably a habit I should get myself out of but ohwells. the photo was after my cousin and I had came home after a horrible three hour+ tutoring lesson. He looks horribly dorky cute in the photo hahaha. I really do love spending time with my cousin, in a way he's like my little sister, they both tell me everything because they (I guess) have no one else to tell. OMG AND I GOT MY PINCHme SAMPLE THROUGH THE MAIL THIS ARVO. LITERALLY MADE MY DAY. I really would have expected the sample to come so quickly. BUT YEEEAH OMG. I just realised, when alice comes back tomorrow she won't shut up about camp. kill me plz. Recently I've also been in love with these songs, click here, here, and here  the last song is a song I heard in a bubzbeauty vlog which I haven't heard in ages but honestly any fob (lol...like me) would have heard of this song. brings back so many memories. :') I really can't wait till prelims are over and holidays come! This is one of the cutest photos from camp which recently got uploaded onto facebook
