“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn’t make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. “It’s all right” we whisper, “I’m here, I love you.” and we lie: “I’ll never leave you.” For just a moment or two the darkness doesn’t seem so bad.”
Neil Gaiman, Neil Gaiman’s Midnight Days
Until we have seen someone’s darkness, we don’t really know who they are. Until we have forgiven someone’s darkness, we don’t really know what love is. - Marianne Williamson

Its been around half a year and I have finally tried to revive this blog. I doubt anyone would read my blog but I guess it'll just for me to relieve some of my 'year 11 stress'

I didn't do much in my holidays, I pretty much spent it with my boyfriend haha. No surprise there I guess. I worked quite alot too, but also spent alot lol. To think that i would have had thousands of dollars if I didn't spend a single cent I had earned from work and now I don't even have a thousand saved up. lol omg. I guess that really says something about me doesn't it. Either way work is very different for me now, now that i know mcafe and brew coffee and have learnt pretty much everything there is to learn, I am, in a way, somewhat at the top of the maccas employees food chain. Talking about, mcafe we have macaroons and red velvet cupcakes. How fancy is that.

I also watched Les Miserable during the holidays. Probably one of the best musical movies
e v e r. While I was spazzing about what a good movie we just finished watching, my boyfriend was shocked he just watched three hours of continuous singing. LOL.

There was also a giant duck at darling harbour for the Australia Day celebrations, and during that period Starbucks also had a promotion where from 2-5pm, frappuccinos were half price. My boyfriend's family and me pretty much got ourselves all one even though it was cold just cause it was half price lol. But either way I'm addicted to Starbucks now. I literally refuse Gloria Jeans. What the hell am I suppose to drink in morning class then?!

Well I have finally started my first official year of being a 'senior', as much as i tried convincing my boyfriend last year I was a senior because I was in senior uniform, he was very insistent on the fact I was still a junior. T_T

Year 11 has already hit me like a bitch, I had never thought it would have been so energy draining and serious. My timetable is already killing me, the fact that i have a morning class and two lunch classes is really annoying, even though it actually isn't that much as my friend has 4 morning classes and a few lunch classes because she is taking both extensions. But either way, It is impossible to look forward to Wednesday and Thursday lunch now because thats my extension math classes.

Its really weird to be in year 11 now, and to think that there isn't normal classes like PE and Geography anymore. I also really miss my music class, especially my teacher. Her sarcastic humour was the best. Although usually I was the only one laughing out of the whole class.

There's so much stuff I want to do this year and also get myself this year. I've already made a list on my phone of everything I want to do and buy. Might as well make the best of this year while I can before HSC really comes along.
