“When we hold each other, in the darkness, it doesn’t make the darkness go away. The bad things are still out there. The nightmares still walking. When we hold each other we feel not safe, but better. “It’s all right” we whisper, “I’m here, I love you.” and we lie: “I’ll never leave you.” For just a moment or two the darkness doesn’t seem so bad.” — Neil Gaiman, Neil Gaiman’s Midnight Days |

So it has been another week! Another week of school and what not and also Valentine's Day and the annual Chinese New Year Twilight Parade, at least I think its called the twilight parade.
My week was pretty much like any normal week. Year 11 is such a drag and is so tiring omg, I had just only slept at 4am this morning because I was up finishing my Legal Studies homework, ironic because the only class i had trouble staying awake in today was Legal Studies. Nevertheless, I have to learn how to sleep early, and hopefully before 10 o' clock tonight. Even though i was aiming for before 8 o' clock before. I guess its really my fault that I was procrastinating when I had gotten home. On Wednesday (13/03) of last week, my boyfriend came back from his retreat. It wasn't really like a normal camp, but from what he's told me its kind of where you go away for three days with half of your year (while the other half goes somewhere else) and you reflect on life and reconciliate and learn how to be positive (??) He learn stuff like the onion man. When he told me, it was pretty much the first time I had heard of it, but its a concept(?) used to describe how people know you. Just like how onions have layers, you do too, and acquaintances and normal friends only know your outside layer, and the closer you are to someone the more layers of you they know, and the only person who knows all your layers is yourself. I kind of disagree with the last bit where the only person who knows all your layers is yourself but that doesn't really matter. Different people have different views. Anyways, he came back on that Wednesday and picked me up after school and spent the afternoon and dinner with me in the city, after all it was our 16month anniversary. We had went to Campbell's at Chinatown and last time we went there we pretty much spent half the time doing algebra, well he was teaching me algebra. I swear like half the waiters were like laughing/judging us cause it seemed more like we were doing homework, so we were treating the restaurant like a library but with food...? I don't know but either way, I had learnt alot of algebra on that day. lol. Then the following day on the 14th, otherwise known as Valentine's Day I had my ancient history excursion, where I had met Ellene, Michelle at my maccas to eat breakfast together, well pretty much I ate breakfast and they watched me eat while Ellene held onto her rose and Valentine's Day presents. Then at around, 9am we started walking to the Australian Museum where we were going to attend the Alexander the Great Exhibition. Not only was it FREEZING inside the museum and so causing me to lose interest in the exhibition but also when I was inside it, I was hit with fatigue. And I pretty much wondered around half the exhibition, trying not to faint/fall asleep/and not freeze to death. Pretty much I kept losing everyone so half the time I wondered alone and by the time I found people everyone had finished and we had another hour to go so we pretty much mucked around and sat down and played on our phones. (Which we had regret deeply later back at school, when we received some huge ass lecture about how we shouldn't have done that, although our behaviour was exceptional...lol..) the parts of the museum which you could actually access for free, the part which has pretty much been inside the museum forever was so much more interesting than the exhibition which I had actually paid for. It had skeletons and natural mineral rocks and the animal bones were so cool omg. I seriously wonder if they are real...because if they are then our prehistorical seas creatures ARE SO COOL OMG. anyways for our lunch break we pretty much were able to wander where ever we wanted to go as long as we were in front of townhall woolworths by 1:15. Jacki, Conny, Ellene and I headed to the museum starbucks where we all got green tea frappucinos and pretty much got Ellene hooked to them too. LOL. Then we went to my maccas again to get lunch, lol. simply because food is cheap there? anyways I went and got cherry ripes from woolworths before waiting in front of woolworths for our teachers. Because the day before Ellene had told me that cherry ripes were customed for valentines with messages such as 'I'm Yours xoxo' 'You are so sweet' I really like you' etc etc. They were so cute! So i bought some for my friends so i could it to them back when I went back to school. ![]() Anyways, we went back to school by train and attended double english. We are currently studying a film called United 93, which is based on the 9/11 terrorists attacks. United 93 were one of the planes which were hijacked, however it did not reach the destination as it is believed to be that the passengers on the plane fought the terrorists. It is actually one of the most intense movies. At the end, after the movie finished you literally have nothing to say. The whole class sat in silence. School ended, and to my surprised my boyfriend was outside the school waiting. I knew he was there I guess but since i kind of took my time to get out of school because I had to see my english teacher about something I didn't really know what he had bought with him to wait outside my school with. But omg, when I had walked out of school and saw him, I was literally speechless as he was holding a gigantic rose, like the ones from morning glory and a bunch of roses. I was like omg what do i do. LOL. I like walked another way before walking to him LOL. (I'm so sorry beebee!!! Technically i was just following traffic rules and used the zebra crossing likea good girl ;D ) I just really didn't know what to do because the whole school was pretty much out there LOL. Then we took the train to town hall and took the metro down to the Sydney Aquarium, simply cause thats so much better than walking and the metro is closing this year so might as well make the most of it. :D The rose was actually huge in comparison to my body. The rose head itself was bigger than my head and it was almost taller than me!!! From the way I was holding it I also hit quite alot of people in the busy streets of the city although I didn't mean to. It also grabbed so much attention from strangers, like randomly you just hear people go 'omg that rose is huge!' or something I don't know. LOL. Then we went to Sydney Aquarium where my boyfriend pretty much went spastic with photos and what not. LOL. He seemed more excited than I did and to think, he once said the aquarium was boring cause he had been there 'oh so many times' After the aquarium we quickly visited Kitty bby at work and then went to Chefs Gallery HOPING THAT THERE WOULD BE SEATS BUT NOO THE LINE WAS SO LONG. I was actually so excited when he had said we would go there to eat dinner (until i found out he was joking) Cause I was meaning to try the food there and Chef's Gallery was always full and I wanted to see what the food tasted like but the line was so long and it was so full so we just ended up eating where we ate last Valentines. I guess we should keep it as some sort of mini tradition, hehe. I would continue, but I have homework due tomorrow, so I'll continue blogging another day. So much homework. ): Labels: 2013, bb, conny, ellenee, fishballs, jacki, maccas, school, starbucks, valentines day ^^ |
